Job Summary Under the direct, immediate or indirect supervision of a credentialed or licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), to assist or facilitate while a SLP is evaluating the speech and/or language of students; to treat identified students following the treatment plan developed by the SLP; to assist in directing student treatment activities and maintaining a proper learning environment; to assist with the preparation and administration of treatment materials; to perform a variety of assistant tasks; and to do other related work as required.
