Surgery - Plastic Physician

Facility in Des Moines, IA seeking Plastic Surgery locums coverage Rates: $3200/day with 2 hours gratis included. $400/hr call-back after 2 hours. Opportunity Highlights Schedule & Commitment: Seeking full-time coverage on an immediate 7 on/7 off OR 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation. Providers must note their preferred block schedule upon submission. Initial Focus: The assignment will start with call only. Clinic/OR responsibilities will be reviewed in the future. Trauma Call: Responsibilities include trauma call and ER consults, in addition to clinic call/EMTALA. Teaching Opportunities: The facility offers opportunities for teaching. EMR: Epic charting system is used. Future Clinic Details: Future full days would include 16+ surgical and cosmetic patient visits, with minute appointment lengths, and 2 4 procedure/OR days per week. Key Responsibilities Provide immediate, consistent soft tissue and trauma call coverage for both hospital locations on a block schedule. Manage ER consults and collaborate with breast surgeons on reconstructive collaboration. Requirements Board Status: Board Certified is REQUIRED. Experience: Must be experienced and clinically active. Availability: Must be available for the 7 on/7 off OR 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation ASAP (must note preference in submission). Licensure: An Active Iowa License or Active IMLC is REQUIRED.
