This role is ideal for a veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and wants to focus solely on urgent care-without the burden of wellness exams, abdominal surgeries, or overnight shifts. Position Highlights Urgent Care Only - no routine wellness appointments or vaccinations No abdominal surgeries or overnight ER Brand-new, state-of-the-art facility with advanced diagnostics Fear Free Certified & Feline Friendly practice Flexible scheduling options including swing and second shifts Excellent technical support staff and collaborative team culture Located in beautiful The Villages, FL Key Responsibilities Diagnose and treat urgent but non-critical conditions (GI issues, wounds, infections, etc.) Prescribe medications, perform diagnostics, and manage treatments Communicate clearly with pet owners about care plans and follow-up Maintain accurate patient records using a cloud-based EMR system Collaborate with medical and support teams to deliver high-quality care Encourage staff development via the LevelUp technician training program Qualifications DVM or VMD (or completion of ECFVG/PAVE) Licensed or eligible to practice veterinary medicine in Florida 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates also welcome!)
