Position Overview As the CT Supervisor, you will be accountable for overseeing the staff and daily operations of the CT service area. You will ensure that all operations are in full compliance with regulatory agencies, maintaining the highest standards for quality imaging, quality control, and quality assurance. In addition to your supervisory duties, you will also perform clinical procedures, serve as a mentor for students and technologists, and play a key role in departmental planning and policy development. Key Responsibilities Supervise staff and manage the daily operations of the CT service area. Ensure compliance with mandates from regulatory agencies regarding quality imaging, quality control, and quality assurance. Perform clinical procedures and oversee the clinical instruction for students and technologists. Participate in the development of Radiology policies and procedures. Assist the Radiology Manager with long-range planning and the operational budget for the CT service area. Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals as a key member of the management team. Qualifications Education: Graduate from a school of Radiologic Technology approved by CAHEA/JRCT. Experience: A minimum of five years of progressive experience in the specific modality (CT) is required. Supervisory experience is preferred. Must have participated in inspection and accreditation processes specific to the modality. Certifications: Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). CT certification is required.
