Structural Welder Pay: $22/hour Location: Sapulpa, OK Hours: 5:00 AM-3:30 PM | Monday-Friday | Occasional Saturday Job Type: Temp-to-Hire Job Order #: 122998 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Structural Welder to join a growing fabrication team in Sapulpa. The Structural Welder role is safety-sensitive and involves operating welding equipment, overhead cranes, forklifts, and automated machinery while performing high-quality structural welds to meet strict specifications and company standards. Weld Test Information • 3G butt plate - flux fill and cap • Back gouge - flux single pass Key Responsibilities • Perform structural fabrication welding using GMAW and FCAW processes • Calibrate all welding tools per WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) • Perform fillet, tack, and full-penetration welding on steel structural joints • Clean and grind materials as needed for post-weld treatment • Set up welding equipment for various positions • Safely operate overhead cranes, pallet jacks, forklifts, dollies, and other material-handling equipment • Inspect completed work for defects and ensure it meets specifications • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Conduct pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections • Follow all company safety and quality procedures • Immediately report equipment or product defects to supervisor • Maintain a professional, safety-focused demeanor at all times Requirements & Qualifications • Minimum 1 year welding experience or welding school graduate • Ability to set up, evaluate, and operate various welding/cutting equipment, including: - Oxygen/fuel gas cutting - Plasma cutting systems - AC/DC welding equipment • Ability to pass the required welding qualification test If you are ready to take the next step in your welding career with a company that values safety and precision, apply today for this Structural Welder position.
