Job Title: Data / Information Architect - Advanced Location: Columbia, SC (100% Onsite, Monday-Friday) Duration: 12 months (with possible extension) Interview Process: In-person, onsite at headquarters in Blythewood, SC Residency Requirement: Open nationwide, but must relocate to South Carolina prior to starting Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Data / Information Architect to support a large-scale data modernization project. The role will focus on data modeling, database design, and ensuring data integrity across Oracle and SQL Server environments. This position requires hands-on experience with ERwin, database administration, and supporting data governance initiatives. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain logical and physical data models using ERwin Data Modeler. Perform reverse and forward engineering of database structures. Establish best practices for data modeling, metadata management, and documentation. Ensure database designs meet scalability, integrity, and performance requirements. Identify and resolve data integrity and consistency issues. Collaborate with architects, DBAs, developers, and business analysts to translate requirements into data models. Manage version control of data models and maintain repositories. Support data governance and compliance through effective modeling strategies. Provide production support for Oracle and SQL Server databases as directed by the DBA manager. ssist with backup/restore, Oracle Grid Control, and related DBA activities. Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on data modeling experience with ERwin. 3+ years of experience with Oracle 18/19 DBA and/or SQL Server 2019/2022. High School Diploma (minimum). Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience with backup and restore of databases. 3+ years of experience with Oracle Grid Control. Oracle Certified Associate or other relevant Oracle certification. Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment. Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen's client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.
