Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current RN license with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience Proficiency in neonatal/perinatal nursing practices Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Flexibility to work either day or night shifts and adapt to a 12-hour schedule Location:This position serves several locations in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area, including Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and Coon Rapids. Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional nursing care to neonates in a high-acuity NICU setting Monitor and assess newborns conditions and respond promptly to changes Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other specialists in ongoing patient management Educate and support families during critical moments and provide compassionate communication Participate in ongoing professional development and uphold best practices in neonatal care Schedule: 12-hour shifts available during days or nights Weekend rotations every other weekend Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) of 0.9 This is a 13-week travel assignment, offering a unique chance to broaden your nursing skills while contributing to vital patient care.
