Electrical Estimator

About the company: One of the top electrical contractors in Seattle is looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator, with experience in transit and industrial projects - TYG is excited to partner with a firm ranked in the top 5% of electrical contractors in the city, who is entering a period of rapid expansion! What you'll be doing: Analyze plans/specifications and perform detailed take-offs (materials, labor, equipment, overhead) to produce accurate cost estimates, including all hidden or implied work Lead junior estimators and collaborate across teams Solicit, compare and negotiate vendor/subcontractor pricing, maintain current cost databases, and identify value engineering opportunities without sacrificing code compliance or system performance Prepare bid proposals, support budget forecasting, attend pre-bid/site meetings, and ensure smooth transition of awarded work to project management/construction teams Must Haves: 7+ years professional experience in electrical estimation Experience across a range of industrial and transit building sectors More reasons to apply: Full coverage healthcare insurance 401k with generous company match Additional compensation and company bonuses Hybrid schedule and flexible working hours Company car and gas subsidy Paid holidays Generous PTO and more!
