Temporary Supply Technician (7 Positions) VA Loma Linda Health Care System Loma Linda, CA 92357 Contract Period: April 1, 2026 March 31, 2027 Employment Type: Temporary (1-Year Contract) Service: Logistics Service 5 days per week (Monday through Friday) 8-hour shifts (based on the assigned shift schedule) Available Shifts Day Shift (6:30 AM 3:00 PM): 5 Positions Swing Shift (3:00 PM 11:30 PM): 1 Position Graveyard Shift (11:00 PM 7:30 AM): 1 Position About the Opportunity The VA Loma Linda Health Care System (VALLHCS) is seeking seven (7) Temporary Supply Technicians to support its Logistics Service due to a current staffing shortage. These positions are critical to maintaining high-quality patient care services by ensuring efficient supply distribution and inventory management throughout the medical center and its supported areas. Technicians will work under the supervision of the Inventory Management Specialist or designated VA staff and must adhere to Veterans Health Administration (VHA) policies, aseptic principles, and Joint Commission standards. Key Responsibilities: Supply Distribution Maintain stock at primary and secondary inventory locations Deliver supplies accurately and timely to wards, clinics, and departments Prepare and stock specialty carts as required Clean shelves and bins in accordance with aseptic and SOP standards Support wall-to-wall and periodic inventories Communicate supply updates or issues to clinical and administrative staff Inventory Control: Receive, unpack, and properly store incoming supplies Ensure sterility and integrity of medical supplies Notify clinical personnel of new or updated supply items Assist with inventory activities (excluding computerized charge-outs and adjustments) Note: Temporary technicians will not have access to VA systems for charge-outs, cycle counts, or inventory adjustments Qualifications: Practical knowledge of supply and inventory management procedures Ability to lift and move supplies up to 40 lbs (with assistance for heavier items) Ability to work the assigned shift consistently Valid drivers license (may be required depending on assignment) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Work Environment & Requirements: Work performed primarily at VA Loma Linda Healthcare System, 11201 Benton St., Loma Linda, CA Must comply with VA safety, security, and smoke-free campus policies Required to wear visible identification at all times Subject to background/security requirements per VA guidelines Must follow all OSHA, Federal, State, and VA safety regulations Please send me your most updated resume to
