To learn more about the benefits of working at UCSF, including total compensation, please visit: Department Description The UCSF Bayfront Operating Room (OR) consists of 14 surgical suites and 2 procedural rooms with 23 hours surgical stay facility. Our primary focus is multidisciplinary team-based approach and staffing, advanced technology, including integrated suites and robotic surgery. Services include, but are not limited to: Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Head and Neck (OHNS), Urology, Benign Gynecology, Plastics, Pain Service, and General Surgery with Robotics. Required Qualifications Minimum two years of recent RN clinical experience in an adult out-patient operating room Proficiency, ability to independently circulate all case types within at least three of the following services: Ophthalmology/Cornea/Retina, GYN/Robotic, GU/Robotic, General Surgery/Robotic, OHNS, OHNS/Airway, MIS SPINE. Possession of the legal requirements to practice as a Registered Nurse as determined by the California Board of Registered Nursing and knowledges and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position. BSN preferred. Proficiency, ability to independently circulate, in at least three of the following services:Ophthalmology/Cornea/Retina, GYN/Robotic, GU/Robotic, General Surgery/Robotic, OHNS, OHNS/Airway. This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations. Preferred Qualifications CNOR BSN Proficient in Scrubbing role in at least 2 of the services listed above.
