A school-based Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity is available in San Marcos, TX, providing specialized services for students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. This contract position supports a caseload of approximately 45 students, delivering both direct and indirect therapy services across three elementary and two junior high campuses. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to K-8 students, addressing individual needs on a comprehensive caseload. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve students functional abilities in school settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress and adapt environments. Document therapy sessions and progress in accordance with state and district guidelines. Participate in team meetings and contribute to student support discussions. Qualifications: Valid Texas Occupational Therapist License required. Experience in school-based OT services preferred. Ability to manage a caseload of up to 45 students with varied therapy needs. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Ability to work 37.5 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexibility as needed.
