Project Scheduler Enhance your proficiency in schedule development and analysis, integrated cost and schedule forecasting using quantitative risk management tools and techniques. These include Expected Monetary Value and Sensitivity Analysis to better predict project schedule and cost performance, enabling timely corrective, preventive, and predictive actions. Apply integrated objective risk management to project baselines to optimize project risk responses, and review and coordinate the management and utilization of project management guidelines, standards, processes, job aids, and tools. Integrate all project management subsidiary systems to improve project performance, providing continuous lifecycle planning and scheduling processes with progressive risk management forecasting. Manage the project schedule performance baseline and forecast schedule performance, identifying opportunities to avoid negative variances. Perform standard and advanced project and special project schedule reporting for stakeholders, compiling and producing schedule reports as needed. Utilize communication competence to drive effective project schedule decision-making. Responsibilities: Increase proficiency in schedule development and analysis using quantitative risk management tools. Apply integrated risk management to optimize project risk responses. Review and coordinate project management guidelines and tools. Integrate project management subsidiary systems to improve performance. Provide continuous lifecycle planning with progressive risk management forecasting. Manage project schedule performance baseline and integrated project baselines. Forecast schedule performance and identify opportunities to avoid negative variances. Perform standard and advanced project schedule reporting for stakeholders. Utilize communication competence to facilitate effective decision-making. Essential Skills: High degree of proficiency in scheduling software (P6) and spreadsheet development. Integrated knowledge base in project scope-schedule-cost, risk-quality management. High School diploma and four years of experience working as a scheduler, or High School diploma and six years of construction/engineering experience with two years as a project scheduler, or Bachelor's Degree and four years' experience as a project scheduler. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and four years' experience as a project scheduler preferred. Ability to read and interpret schedules and proficiency in P6 and database development. Experience in large industrial Capital Project environments. Work Environment: This role begins with in-office training for the first few weeks, transitioning to a hybrid model where you will work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You will have opportunities to work on diverse projects in electric and natural gas systems and infrastructure upgrades, and be exposed to cutting-edge technologies and compliance systems, fostering continuous learning. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valparaiso, IN. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
