Position Type: Summer School Non-Certified/ESY Summer School Secretary Date Posted: 2/18/2026 Location: Pioneer Elem & Bolingbrook HS Closing Date: Until Filled VACANCY: The Valley View School District is seeking an individual to fill a temporary secretarial position for the 25/26 Extended School Year Program for Pioneer Elementary and Bolingbrook High School (location to be determined). REPORTS TO: ESY AdministratorOrientation: June 1, 2026 Date: June 2, 2026 June 30, 2026No classes on June 19th, 2026 Staff Hours: 8:30am-12:45pm Additional time may be required before and after session start and end date and start and end times on a daily basis to fully fulfill administrative performance responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS: Keeping an accurate record of student and teacher attendance Some typing responsibilities: completing forms and reports as required, instructional materials for classroom use, and general office correspondence Taking and delivering telephone messages Filing and clerical work as required Sorting and distributing U.S. and in-district mail Maintaining accurate records for certified and non-certified payroll as required Working with student records (Must be able to exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality) Physical Exam and Negative TB Test required Must provide a high school diploma or GED equivalent PAY SCALE AND BENEFIT DISCLOSURE: Salary is in accordance with the Office Personnel Salary Schedule.
