(30 Mins from Winchester, VA and 1h30 from Washington DC) This is a primarily outpatient role without delivery coverage. Able to sponsor visas! Easy Access to Winchester VA, Washington DC, or Baltimore! Schedule: 4 Days Outpatient Clinic, 1 Day of Hospital based GYN Procedures This position does not require delivery coverage. Discuss and explain treatments and medication thoroughly with patients, advising them of all the side effects and making sure that all allergy information is current before prescribing any medication or treatment Specialized care including Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Nurse-Midwifery Prenatal and Postnatal care in clinic setting Annual well-woman exams and screenings, Minor fertility assistance and counseling Evaluation and treatment of gynecological disorders, Gynecologic surgery In-office ultrasound for OBGYN by certified sonographers WV family planning, BCCSP, and other state-funded programs Supportive services including breastfeeding support by Certified Lactation Consultant, health education, preconception counseling and postpartum consultation Comply with federal and state privacy laws, always respecting a patient's confidentiality Follow all departmental policies and procedures Background Desired: OB/GYN Board Certified or Board Eligible - Obstetrics and Genecology
