The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Fall Protection Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Prioritizing key account Fall Protection opportunities in the Ohio market Managing Fall Protection penetration within key end-user and distributor customers Providing Fall Protection regional training and support to both internal core sales team and external customer base utilizing a Fall Protection demo truck Supporting training program development and materials with Training Managers Assisting in prioritization of key new Fall Protection products Company Vehicle This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and seven (7) years of Fall Protection and/or Safety industry products experience in a private, public, government, or military environment OR Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and three (3) years of Fall Protection and/or Safety industry products experience in a private, public, government, or military environment AND Current, valid Driver's License Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Five (5) years of sales experience in a private, public, government, or military environment Experience with Fall Protection product categories Safety Industry experience, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Experience selling through Industrial and Construction Distribution Experience selling PPE to end-user companies Ability to lift 50lbs, climb ladders, and walk uneven surfaces Work Location: Location: Columbus, OH Territory: State of Ohio Relocation Assistance: May be authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
