The Opportunity: Our operations run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we are hiring for roles across multiple shifts. Schedules are assigned based on business needs and role alignment and may include daytime, evening, overnight, weekend, or holiday coverage. Candidates interested in any shift are encouraged to apply. As an On-site Staff Pharmacist, you will ensure safe, timely, and accurate medication dispensing within our fulfillment pharmacy. You'll oversee technicians on the floor, verify prescriptions, support clinical workflows, and help maintain exceptional patient safety and quality standards. You will also support front-end processing, conduct counseling as required, and play a key role in ensuring order accuracy and operational excellence throughout the dispensing lifecycle. What You'll Do:Product Verification & Dispensing Verify prescription accuracy and clinical appropriateness prior to dispensing Review and approve orders above dose maximum with documentation Confirm correct drug, dosage, labeling, packaging, and patient information Review orders outside FDA-approved labeling when applicable Ensure compliance with DEA, FDA, manufacturer, and Board of Pharmacy regulations Maintain strict quality controls aligned to our "Zero Misses" dispensing standard Fulfillment Oversight Oversee pharmacy technicians performing filling, labeling, packing, and shipping Provide real-time workflow direction, troubleshooting, and prioritization Ensure fulfillment processes-including cold chain handling-meet USP and GSDP standards Review temperature logs, controlled substance inventories, and storage conditions Front-End Pharmacy Processing Support prescription verification, onboarding, clarification, and clinical review as needed Partner with remote pharmacists to maintain turnaround time SLAs and coverage On-Call Rotation & Facility Monitoring Participate in weekly on-call rotation for temperature alerts, after-hours patient inquiries, and emergency pharmacist coverage Document and resolve after-hours events in accordance with the Quality Management Program (QMP) Supervision & Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and support onsite technicians in alignment with scope-of-practice standards Conduct competency checks, training reinforcement, and coaching Foster a positive, safety-focused workplace aligned with Neovance culture Compliance & Quality Adhere to FDA, DEA, and state regulatory standards Participate in audits, reviews, root cause investigations, and report/document events or near misses. Provide subject matter expertise to support QMP initiatives and client interactions Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy compliance What You'll Bring: Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm); Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) preferred Active Florida pharmacist license in good standing and ability to obtain additional licenses as needed Proficiency using computer systems, multitasking, and managing time-sensitive order volume 2+ years of pharmacist experience in a retail or specialty pharmacy, with demonstrated ability to: Analyze information and make sound clinical decisions Administer medications appropriately Interpret physician orders to ensure safe, accurate dispensing Communicate clearly with prescribers, patients, and internal teams Apply FDA regulations, pharmacology knowledge, and legal/compliance standards Maintain accuracy, quality, and attention to detail Manage complex phone interactions, including extended durations if needed Compensation & Benefits: All job offers are determined based on a candidate's location, skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
