Job Title: Electrical EstimatorEssential Skills 3-5 years of electrical estimating experience in commercial construction. Journeyman or Master Electrician license with 1-2 years of estimating experience. Proficiency in estimation and bidding for electrical construction projects. Experience with estimating software, such as Acubid. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with or willingness to learn new software and techniques. Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule. Job DescriptionThe Construction Electrical Estimator will spearhead the development of detailed budgets and competitive bids, focusing on cultivating strong, long-term relationships with contractors and repeat clients, who comprise approximately 80% of the business.This role involves active industry participation, including networking events and golf outings to strengthen market connections.The estimator will primarily specialize in multifamily electrical projects valued between $1-8 million, with additional exposure to apartment and mixed-use developments.The position offers significant flexibility, allowing work from home 3-4 days per week and a personalized schedule. Offices are located in Lansing, Grand Rapids, Detroit, and Traverse City, offering a true seat at the leadership table to influence project strategy and company growth.
