Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Provide occupational therapy services at an elementary school site specializing in self-contained classrooms for students with autism. This onsite, contract position offers approximately 20 hours per week over three days, with scheduling flexibility to split hours across four to five days if preferred. The assignment begins mid-April and runs through May 28, ideal for professionals seeking maternity leave coverage. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy interventions aligned with individualized education program (IEP) goals. Collaborate closely with special education staff and classroom teams to enhance student engagement, functional skill development, and participation within autism-focused programs. Qualifications: Active Illinois license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
