Pharmacist Position We're an independent community pharmacy in Watertown seeking a pharmacist to join our team. Responsible for all activities related to dispensing medications. 2. Responsible for the accurate delivery of services to clients. 3. Ability to lead a team of technicians including but not limited to training new technicians, organizing daily retail workflow, overseeing in-house delivery services and helping reduce the prescription to patient turnaround time. 4. Ensure that billing documents and inventory control records are completed and accurate. 5. Ensure strict compliance with all standardized professional policies and procedures. 6. Work in collaboration with other pharmacy staff to achieve clinical effectiveness. 7. Ensure adherence to State and Federal laws and regulations. 8. Maintain strict control over distribution and usage of all medications, including government controlled products such as narcotics and barbiturates. 9. Ensure appropriate record keeping for each prescription filled for pharmacy files, for control files on narcotics, poisons, habit-forming drugs or for billing records. 10. Monitor and participate in QA activities. Requirements Current and Unrestricted Pharmacist license in the Commonwealth of MA. 1 or more years of Retail Pharmacy experience. Long Term Care experience a plus Strong organizational skills and detail oriented. Ability to discuss sensitive and confidential information in a polished and unbiased manner.
