Service Porter – Automotive Service Department Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Service Porter to join our Service Department team. The Porter plays a key role in maintaining efficient vehicle flow, supporting Service Advisors and Technicians, and ensuring a smooth customer pick-up and drop-off experience. Primary Responsibilities: • Move customer vehicles to and from the service drive, parking lot, and shop area after repair orders are written. • Safely transport vehicles through the car wash upon service completion. • Stage and park completed vehicles in designated pick-up areas. • Locate vehicles quickly and efficiently when customers arrive for pick-up. • Assist Service Advisors with vehicle organization and lot flow. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive and parking areas. • Perform visual inspections for damage before and after moving vehicles. • Ensure keys are properly tagged and returned to the correct location. • Support technicians and advisors with vehicle shuttling as needed. • Follow all dealership safety policies and driving procedures. Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. • Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred). • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Must be dependable and punctual. Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. • Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently.
