Job DescriptionWhat You Will DoProject Planning, Design & Implementation Lead the planning, design, and delivery of water and sewer infrastructure projects. Conduct engineering analyses, studies, and system modeling to support project design. Review plans and specifications and resolve design or construction issues. Team Leadership & Coordination Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Serve as a technical resource for internal teams and project stakeholders. Stakeholder, Regulatory & Community Engagement Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, regulators, and the public to ensure compliant project delivery. Maintain accurate utility documentation, including GIS data and as-built records. Operational Reliability & Safety Support reliability efforts through occasional on-call or extended-hour response needs. Promote safe, sustainable, and cost-effective engineering practices across all work activities. QualificationsWhat is Required Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field Minimum of 2 years of progressive civil engineering experience within a utility, water/wastewater, or infrastructure environment. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification at hire; ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) licensure when eligible, or within two years. Valid driver's license. Proficiency with engineering software, modeling tools, and GIS/mapping systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences. What is Preferred Experience with utility design, construction oversight, or municipal engineering. Familiarity with water/wastewater system modeling or surveying practices.
