DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support the DRMD Records and Information Management (RIM) Evaluation Program through all stages of the evaluation process Coordinate with DRMD leadership and DON commands to schedule evaluations, conduct interviews and provide evaluation findings Validate and analyze RIM practices, file plans, and supporting documentation received from DON commands, and prepare pre-evaluation assessments Develop familiarity with RIM evaluation procedures and participate in command evaluation interviews Prepare comprehensive written reports documenting evaluation findings, compliance scores, and actionable recommendations Develop full working knowledge of DON/DoD/NARA guidelines and governing documents regarding federal records management and its application to RIM evaluations Edit and revise evaluation procedures, SOPs and documentation for continuous progress improvement QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Top Secret Security Clearance 1 year(s) experience working directly with Federal executive level agencies, Department of Defense, or the DON records functions, directives and instructions Bachelors Degree in information management related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience Ability to collaborate with team members and work independently in support of evaluations (work will be a mix of on-site and telework, with possible travel to evaluations outside of the NCR) Strong communication skills (oral and written), including the ability to interact professionally with external DON commands, prepare clear and persuasive reports, and present findings to senior officials Appetite to develop subject matter expertise in federal records management policies and procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel, Word and PowerPointbfb3568a-762b-4989-884b-a9682aa104ca
