CDL A Delivery Driver

CDL Driver Meat Delivery Saad Meats, a leading supplier of high-quality meats in Detroit's Eastern Market, is seeking a reliable and professional CDL A Driver to join our team. As a CDL A Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of our meat products to various local and regional customers, including restaurants, grocery stores, and wholesale buyers. Job Title: CDL Driver Meat Delivery Location: Detroit, MI Type of Hire: Direct Hire Hours: Monday Friday 5:00 2:00pm (Optional Saturdays, Daily Start and end times may vary depending on delivery schedule) Rate: $250/Day flat rate Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a refrigerated delivery truck to transport meat products. Load and unload products at customer locations, ensuring all deliveries are accurate. Follow all DOT and company safety standards and regulations. Maintain and monitor vehicle condition and report any issues. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Ensure products are delivered in excellent condition, maintaining proper temperature control throughout transit. Complete all delivery paperwork, including invoices and logs, accurately and in a timely manner. Adhere to the assigned delivery schedule and report any delays promptly. Requirements: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) with a clean driving record. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles, preferably in the food industry. Familiarity with the Detroit area and surrounding regions is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50-85 lbs and handle perishable products. Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Must be dependable, punctual, and customer-service oriented. Ability to work early mornings and weekends as needed.
