RPA Solutions Architect

About the role Seeking a Senior RPA Solutions Architect with over 7 years of experience to lead the design and implementation of robotic process automation solutions for federal clients, specifically supporting the Department of Homeland Security and TSA. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership skills, experience with RPA platforms like UiPath and Power Automate, and an active DHS clearance or the ability to obtain one. This hybrid role, based in the Washington, DC metro area, offers the opportunity to work on impactful government projects using cutting-edge automation technologies. Job Responsibilities Lead the architectural design and development of scalable RPA solutions aligned with business requirements. Collaborate with government stakeholders, business analysts, and developers to identify automation opportunities. Oversee the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, testing, and deployment of automation solutions. Mentor and lead technical teams, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards. Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements within the DHS environment. Continuously evaluate and integrate new RPA and intelligent automation technologies. Document solution designs, business processes, and gather requirements from stakeholders. Partner with Intelligent Process Automation teams to implement best practices. Provide thought leadership on innovative uses of RPA and platform direction. Proficiency with UiPath, Power Automate, Blue Prism, or similar RPA platforms. 2+ years of experience leading large-scale Federal IT projects. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Active DHS EOD clearance (TSA preferred) or ability to obtain one. Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Python, or Java. Experience with databases and SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to analyze business processes and create process flow diagrams. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills in technical teams.
