Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist working within an elementary school setting in Elgin, IL. This role focuses on providing specialized OT support to school-aged children, helping them develop the skills necessary for academic and social success. Assignment Details: Location: Elgin, Illinois Setting: Elementary school Contract duration: March 30, 2026 June 5, 2026 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:20 a.m. to 2:35 p.m. Caseload: 42-50 students Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans that support the educational goals of students. Provide direct occupational therapy services to help students improve motor, sensory, and functional skills. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure integrated support. Document student progress and maintain clear, up-to-date records in accordance with school policies. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to program planning. Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials to practice in Illinois. Experience working in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged students. Ability to manage a caseload within the indicated range effectively. Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to working with school staff and families.
