Job DutiesThe Highway Maintenance Summer Worker assists the maintenance staff with a variety of tasks to support safe and efficient county road operations. Responsibilities include making and installing highway signs, flagging traffic, patching roads, cleaning bridges, controlling vegetation, and performing general shop maintenance. Additional duties may involve working alongside the Sign Technician to replace or install highway signs and completing other related tasks as assigned.Minimum Education RequiredThere is no formal education requirement for this position.Minimum Experience RequiredNo prior experience is required; however, applicants without relevant experience should expect to start at the entry-level pay rate.
