Your role includes supporting the Aquatic Restoration program with project management tasks, compliance with Tetra Tech processes related to business development, project management, health and safety, quality, and project delivery. You will also support staff retention by fostering a work environment that is collaborative, values diversity, equity, and inclusion which will sustain a challenging and attractive work environment. Additionally, you will support internal Tetra Tech processes related to project management initiatives, contract reviews, proposal and cost reviews, and project delivery services. You will develop and mentor staff to gain an understanding of business development, project delivery related to resource surveys and reporting, assessments and designs, environmental permitting, and project delivery/management. You will conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards. You will pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness. You will work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns. Additional duties as required. You will meet with the Aquatic Restoration Business Development group monthly and provide weekly updates on business development, finances, project performance, and utilization. You will work with Client Managers, Initiative Leads, and Operations on strategic pursuits, including proposal and business development, as well as prospective client meetings. You will support the Aquatic Restoration program with market research and analysis and collaborate with Client Managers, Operation Leads, and Project Managers to further establish Tetra Tech's Aquatic Restoration program. You will support the Aquatic Restoration program with annual goal planning related to Health & Safety, Quality, Staff Retention, and strategic growth initiatives (diversity of services, clients, markets, operational footprint). You will support the Aquatic Restoration program with key performance indicators associated with Annual Operating Plans (gross/net revenue, utilization, discretionary spending, backlog, cash management). You will conduct business development activities through direct client contact to capture new and follow-on work. You will review and respond to RFI, RFPs, and RFQs. You will lead proposal and cost development activities. You will participate in strategic growth initiatives to expand Tetra Tech's client and operational footprint in the aquatic restoration sector. You will identify new service areas in response to changes in the market and service area opportunities. You will understand client's drivers and emerging regulations within the stream restoration sector. You will lead and grow the aquatic restoration practice to support watershed assessments, stream restoration designs, construction of stream restoration projects, and as-built evaluations following implementation. You will serve as Project Manager in the successful development and execution of aquatic restoration projects. You will serve as a technical lead to support and execute the key stages of aquatic restoration project development, including assessments, surveys, analyses, environmental permitting, engineering/design, and construction. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams to complete projects on time and on budget. Qualifications include possessing a B.S. in a related field (i.e., engineering, biology, planning, environmental studies, or a closely related discipline). You will exhibit 8 to 10 years of professional experience. This experience may include business development, project management, restoration project implementation, and/or construction. You will have 5 or more years of experience in leading or managing technical staff, serving in a project management capacity, and performing senior-level responsibilities. You will be able to travel throughout the year. You will have in-depth knowledge of aquatic restoration projects and methodologies. You will have knowledge and experience of the regulatory frameworks of agencies in the Pacific Northwest. You will have some experience with irrigation and water right delivery in the Pacific Northwest. You will have knowledge of software used in aquatic restoration projects (e.g., GIS, CAD, Office Suite, etc). You will have experience conducting stakeholder engagement meetings for aquatic restoration projects. You will have the ability to lead and provide subject matter expert review of assessments, analyses, and due diligence reviews of existing or planned projects on behalf of clients. You will have demonstrated ability to meet and exceed client expectations through project management, workload planning, and resource allocation. You will have demonstrated experience in project financials such as project metrics related to revenue, net revenue, operating income, margin, and utilization. You will have the ability to attract, develop, and retain talented staff who deliver results. You must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience and demonstrated work experience in the above role; skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role; geographic location; and education, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
