Job Summary As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will focus on high school and community college outreach. Candidates should have expertise in outreach, building/maintaining relationships, presenting, and program development. Essential Duties and Responsibilities -Manage the marketing and recruiting process to identify and secure candidates for Van Wall to sponsor for the John Deere TECH program at Northeast Iowa Community College in Calmar, IA, Southeast Community College in Milford, NE and DMACC in Ankeny, IA -Serving as the academic advisor and mentor for students throughout program participation -Managing the development of the programs and relationships with related academic institutions who are delivering the programs -Fostering relationships with key internal stakeholders to support on-the-job training rotations and overall administration of the program at the local level -Develop and maintain relationships with area high school and community college teachers and administrators to help identify Ag Tech candidates -Meet with prospective students and parents. Outline details of the program(s) and answer any questions regarding the application and hiring process -Set up meetings and presentations with a targeted audience -Attend career fairs and outreach events at high schools and colleges -Build relationships with internal management on recruiting strategy and communicate updates on the status of candidates -Complete other recruiting and general support duties as assigned Position Qualifications -Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, education, or other related field required -Minimum 2 years of recruiting and outreach or academia experience required -Prior experience with organizing and scheduling events preferred -Experience with outreach events at high schools, colleges and other community events -Strong communication and presentation skills with an ability to present in front of a variety of audiences -Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record (company car provided) -Ability to work flexible hours at times Accessibility: If you need an accommodation as part of the employment process please contact Human Resources Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
