Job Full Description Maintenance Mechanic 1 - 1st & 3rd ShiftLocation: Haven, Kansas Position Overview: Join a local team as a Maintenance Mechanic 1! This role involves assisting in maintenance, repairs, and installations using technical skills in compliance with codes and standards. Key Responsibilities: Maintain detailed repair logs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company standards Perform proactive, preventative maintenance to minimize downtime Operate and maintain forklifts, man lifts, and company vehicles Use welding, cutting torches, and various hand and power tools for project tasks Support installation and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and machinery Diagnose equipment issues and specify necessary repair parts Position Requirements: High school diploma or GED Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Willingness to work extra hours as needed Preventative maintenance experience and mechanical aptitude Team-oriented with a focus on safety Basic electrical knowledge (480V and 110V) 3-5 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance Pay Rates: $20/hour for 1st shift $21/hour for 3rd shift Note: The listed duties and requirements are summaries.
