DescriptionJob Overview Kind Car Wash is looking for a dependable, people-first Key Holder / Shift Supervisor to help lead day-to-day shift operations. This hourly leadership role supports the Site Manager by keeping the team on track, delivering great service, maintaining a clean and safe site, and ensuring guests leave happy (and sparkling clean). What You'll Do (Responsibilities) Lead the shift: Open/close the site as scheduled, secure the facility, and follow daily checklists. Support the team: Assign positions, coach attendants in the moment, and help maintain a positive, high-performing culture. Deliver excellent guest service: Greet customers, resolve concerns professionally, and handle service recovery when needed. Keep operations running smoothly: Monitor throughput, line flow, and equipment basics; communicate issues and escalate when needed. Maintain site standards: Ensure the tunnel, vacuum area, and lot stay clean, organized, and guest-ready. Safety & compliance: Enforce PPE and safety procedures; model the right behaviors and correct issues promptly. Cash handling (as assigned): Follow register and cash-control procedures, including deposits and end-of-day paperwork. Sales & membership support: Promote wash packages/memberships with a friendly, helpful approach. What We're Looking For (Requirements) Previous leadership experience (shift lead, key holder, supervisor, or similar) preferred Strong customer service skills and a calm, professional approach when solving problems Ability to coach and direct a team while working alongside them Comfortable in a fast-paced, outdoor environment in varying weather conditions Must be able to stand for long periods, walk frequently, and lift up to 50 pounds Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including weekends/holidays as needed) Car wash, retail, restaurant, or service-industry experience is a plus Why Work at Kind Car Wash?
