Job Description Service Manager Lead the Charge in our Growth Phase Premier Import Brand Are you a Fixed Ops powerhouse who thrives on more than just "business as usual"? We are a high-performing import dealership currently hitting our stride, and we're looking for a Service Manager who doesn't just manage a department but builds a legacy. The Mission Your goal is simple but ambitious: transform our service department into a high-efficiency, high-satisfaction engine of growth. You'll be responsible for optimizing workflows, mentoring a team of elite technicians, and ensuring our Import clientele receives the white-glove experience they expect. Key Responsibilities Operational Scaling: Refine and implement shop processes to increase throughput and maximize technician proficiency. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and retain top-tier talent. You aren't just a boss; you're a coach focused on career development. CSI Excellence: Maintain and exceed manufacturer Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores by fostering a culture of transparency and accountability. Financial Oversight: Manage the department P&L, control expenses, and identify untapped revenue streams in the import service market. Customer Retention: Build lasting relationships with our loyal import community through personalized service and effective communication. What You Bring to the Table Feature Requirement Experience 3+ years in a Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager role (Import experience preferred). KPI Driven A deep understanding of ELR, shop capacity, and technician productivity metrics. Tech Knowledge Familiarity with import-specific diagnostic tools and modern DMS platforms (CDK, Dealertrack, etc.). Leadership Style A "lead-by-example" attitude-you're comfortable on the drive and in the shop.
