Substitute Nurse

Position Type: Substitute Nurse Date Posted: 6/9/2025 Location: TBD Date Available: 2025-2026 School Year Closing Date: Open Until Filled POSITION: Substitute Nurse LOCATION: TBD PRIMARY PURPOSE: Provide health services to students in the absence of the regular campus nurse. Support student success by promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of students, staff, and the school community. QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License. Valid CPR Certification. Special Knowledge/Skills: Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Practical knowledge of nursing procedures and techniques relevant to children. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while following district policies and procedures. Experience: School nursing experience preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing care and first aid to students. Administer medications and treatments according to district policies. Maintain accurate student health records and report concerns as needed. Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and administration. Consult with Lead Nurses or other campus nurses for support and guidance as necessary. PAY: $125 per day (RN or LVN) Application: Complete an online application through AppliTrack.
