LVT Benefits And Compensation Hourly pay: $28$38/hour (based on experience) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with 4% company match Generous paid time off, parental leave, and paid holidays Commuter benefits and subsidized wellness programs Discounted veterinary care for personal pets Clear growth and advancement opportunities Supportive, collaborative team environment LVT Requirements And Qualifications Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) 1+ year of clinical experience Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable using computers and online tools Strong communication and client-facing skills Team-oriented, proactive, and dependable Thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment Passion for animal care and patient advocacy Availability to work every other Saturday on a rotating schedule: Week 1: 4 10-hour shifts Week 2: 3 10-hour shifts + 1 8-hour Saturday shift LVT Day-To-Day Responsibilities Triage patients and recognize medical emergencies Assess patients and record vitals Assist doctors with diagnostics and treatments Provide basic nursing care and patient monitoring Draw blood and place catheters Assist with and facilitate radiography Prepare and run in-house laboratory tests Prepare samples for external reference labs Prepare and administer medications as directed Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the medical team Support a clean, calm, and hospitable clinical environment
