Job Title: Legal Secretary - Insurance Defense Job ID: 26-00556 Location: Bellevue, WA Duration: 04 Months on W2 contract We are seeking a Legal Secretary to support Insurance Defense attorneys by handling legal documentation, correspondence, and administrative tasks related to litigation matters. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, proofread, and e-file legal documents (pleadings, motions, briefs, subpoenas) Maintain legal files, records, calendars, and tickler systems Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements Serve as liaison between attorneys and clients Manage incoming/outgoing mail and file-related invoices Handle medical records and routine correspondence Requirements: Experience supporting Insurance Defense attorneys (Workers' Compensation, General Liability, or Auto Liability preferred) Knowledge of local legal procedures and court filings Strong organizational and multitasking skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams Ability to work independently and in a team environment Physical Requirements: Ability to perform light physical tasks including lifting up to 20 lbs. Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is between $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
