Legal Billing Specialist

Legal Billing Specialist Chicago, IL | (Hybrid) Tucker Ellis LLP is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Specialist to join our team in the Chicago office. This role will be responsible for handling both traditional billing and e-billing processes in a hybrid schedule. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client billing guidelines Manage e-billing submissions and troubleshoot any related issues Collaborate with attorneys and clients to address billing inquiries Assist in month-end and year-end billing processes Maintain billing records and ensure timely payments Qualifications: Minimum of three years of experience in a legal billing position Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in legal billing software, preferably Aderant, and Microsoft Office Suite What We Offer At Tucker Ellis, we value our employees and provide a robust benefits package to support their well-being: Day 1 Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage Paid Time Off: PTO begins to accumulate immediately, plus paid holidays Retirement Plan:401(k) plan with a profit-sharing contribution Annual HSA Contribution Compensation Range: Compensation is based on experience and skill set, with an annual salary range of $65,000 - $85,000.
