The Mitigation Manager must be able to respond, sell, and successfully manage water mitigation projects for both residential and commercial. Other Responsibilities Include: • Managing all communications with insurance carriers and clients regarding mitigation • Accurately tracking payroll of our employees and contracted workers • Following established safety rules and regulations • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for the employees • Establishing and maintaining relationships with agents and adjustors • Training and guiding the mitigation technician team members through the mitigation process • Monitoring guidelines and profitability of specific insurance programs. • Creating accurate scopes of work and creating profitable estimates based on this scope of work • Evaluating team member performance • Completing necessary paperwork to record all job notes and utilizing proprietary software • Any other duties assigned by the manager Qualifications: • Either Associates Degree or equivalent 2-3 years of experience in emergency mitigation services required • IICRC certification in Water (WRT), Advanced Structural Drying (ASD) and Carpet Cleaning (CCT) preferred • Xactimate experience preferred • Excellent computer skills, including but not limited to: MS-Excel, Word, and Outlook • Willingness to work on-call rotation to handle water losses • Ability to understand and comply with all policies and procedures., attendance, conduct and so forth as documented in the Employee Handbook.
