Occupational Therapist Job Details Location: Bismarck, North Dakota 58501 Setting: Acute Care Hospital Employment Type: Travel Occupational Therapist Contract Start Date: December 29, 2025 End Date: March 30, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm (40 hours/week) Shifts: 8-hour day shifts; occasional weekend every 4-6 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1930 - $2080 Charting System: Epic EMR Dress Code: Ceil blue, khaki, gray, chocolate brown polo or business casual Occupational Therapist Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in acute care and pediatric settings Active Occupational Therapist license in North Dakota Certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Ability to work occasional weekends (every 4-6 weeks) Strong documentation skills; Epic EMR experience preferred Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Occupational Therapy Responsibilities Assess patients and design individualized occupational therapy treatment plans Conduct evaluations and interventions for functional, cognitive, and behavioral impairments Develop therapy goals and administer evidence-based occupational therapy programs Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress using Epic EMR Educate patients and families to improve functional outcomes Utilize age-appropriate treatments and integrate current research into practice Demonstrate flexibility with variable schedules and assignments Collaborate with healthcare providers, case managers, and family members Supervise occupational therapy assistants, aides, and students Participate in departmental activities and training programs Apply now to join our healthcare team in Bismarck, ND and make a difference as an Occupational Therapist in acute care!
