Junior SAP FICO Quality Engineer

Location - Remote Rate - $40 per hr (long term contract 2 yrs)Junior SAP FICO Quality Engineer We are seeking early-career Quality Engineering talent with 2 to 5 years of experience in SAP FICO testing within ECC or S/4HANA environments. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who brings both functional validation expertise and strong communication skills. The Junior SAP FICO Quality Engineer will support functional testing efforts, validate financial processes, and collaborate closely with business and technical teams to ensure high-quality system performance. Execute functional testing across SAP FICO modules in ECC or S/4HANA landscapes Validate General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Vendor Payment processes Test and validate SAP Fiori applications Query backend SAP tables to validate and troubleshoot financial data Write detailed test cases and test steps to support functional validation Log and track defects using Rally or JIRA Collaborate with cross-functional teams including functional analysts and developers Communicate testing results clearly to stakeholders Requirements Required: 2 to 5 years of experience testing SAP FICO in ECC or S/4HANA environments Strong functional knowledge of GL, AP/AR, and Vendor Payments Experience validating SAP Fiori applications Ability to query and validate backend SAP tables Experience using Rally or JIRA for test management and defect tracking Demonstrated experience writing structured test cases for SAP FICO processes Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred: PBM industry experience Understanding of ETL processes and SAP integrations with third-party boundary systems Exposure to interface validation and data reconciliation
