Description The Product Stewardship & Regulatory Specialist is responsible for the qualification and setup of new products and regulatory support for customers across consumer & life sciences and industrial markets. This position sits at the intersection of product data integrity, regulatory compliance, and product stewardship, ensuring our product information, regulatory classifications, and compliance processes are accurate, scalable, and aligned with evolving regulations. This is not a manufacturing or QA role. Instead, the role focuses on enabling commercial teams, supply chain, and customers by maintaining high-quality product data and ensuring compliance across a diverse, multi-supplier portfolio. Essential tasks of the position Own and maintain product master data across ERP and related systems, including: Hazard information Transportation data Regulatory classifications Product attributes supporting sales, logistics, and customer requirements Ensure product data accuracy, consistency, and governance across internal systems and external-facing documentation Partner with IT, supply chain, and commercial teams to support new product setup, portfolio changes, and ongoing data integrity initiatives Assist the commercial team in executing new product launches by assuring accurate product information is obtained and made accessible to the internal PH teams, 3rd party warehouses, and customers Ensure accuracy and completeness of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Technical Data Sheets (TDS), labels, and other product documents. Provide regulatory support related to products used in food, personal care, pharmaceutical, and life sciences applications Maintain regulatory knowledge related to FDA, GFSI, FSMA, and other applicable consumer and life sciences frameworks Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure documentation and regulatory alignment for regulated end markets Run the Product Change Notification (PCN) process, including deciding when a PCN is necessary, drafting communication to internal and external stakeholders, and aligning with compliance team members to ensure process is completed Respond to customer questions relating to product regulations/specifications Lead Projects as assigned by the Compliance Director and Chief Compliance Officer Maintain product Master Data with a high level of data integrity The outline of duties is not arranged in order of priority. Education Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or other related discipline o Equivalent work experience in this industry or related field may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience 2-4 years' work experience in the chemical distribution industry or related field Experience with Hazardous Materials, DOT, REACH, OSHA, HACCP & HARPC, etc. preferred
