Maintenance Technician Watsontown, PA Watsontown Brick, a trusted brand within the General Shale family and one of North America’s leading producers of brick and sustainable building solutions, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operations at our Watsontown, Pennsylvania commercial brick manufacturing facility. Position Overview: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. This role supports preventative maintenance programs, equipment fabrication, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment including motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyors Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic and testing equipment Fabricate repair parts and perform equipment repairs using machine shop tools Install and modify equipment as needed to support plant operations Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventories Document maintenance activities and communicate issues with plant teams Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Required Knowledge & Skills:General fabrication and welding Electrical systems Pneumatics and hydraulics Equipment troubleshooting and repair General building maintenance Ability to operate forklifts, hoists, and aerial lifts Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required 3–5 years of maintenance experience in an automated manufacturing environment Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, stoop, reach, and bend throughout the workday Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Schedule:Full-time position Overtime required as needed What We Offer:Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision Disability and Life Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holidays Stable employment with an industry-leading manufacturer Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
