Job DescriptionJob Overview - Director of Patient Care Services (Hospice RN): Compensation: $95,000 - $115,000/year Location: Conway, SC Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Director of Patient Care Services (Hospice RN) in Conway, SC for our client. This leadership role oversees clinical operations, guides interdisciplinary teams, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports high-quality hospice care. You will lead patient care planning, mentor clinical staff, collaborate with referral sources, and drive quality improvement while promoting a compassionate, patient-centered culture. Responsibilities as the Director of Patient Care Services (Hospice RN): Clinical Leadership: Oversee daily hospice clinical operations to ensure high-quality, compliant patient care. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and support RNs, LPNs, CNAs, Social Workers, Chaplains, and all interdisciplinary team members. IDT & Care Coordination: Direct IDT meetings, coordinate care plans, and ensure smooth patient admissions and ongoing clinical communication. Quality & Compliance: Monitor clinical documentation, uphold regulatory standards, and drive quality improvement initiatives. Community & Operational Oversight: Partner with hospitals and referral sources while managing budgets, staffing, and resource allocation to support efficient operations. Qualifications for the Director of Patient Care Services (Hospice RN): Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN), with a BSN or Master's degree preferred. Licensure: Active South Carolina RN license required. Experience: 3+ years of nursing leadership experience in hospice, home health, or acute care settings, with demonstrated management and supervisory capabilities. Technical Skills: Proficiency with EMR systems and clinical documentation platforms common to hospice and home-based care preferred. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of hospice regulations, interdisciplinary care coordination, and quality improvement standards. Skills & Attributes: Compassionate, collaborative leader with strong communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills dedicated to patient-centered end-of-life care.
