CG and Animation Engineer Description - This role is responsible for crafting industrial design concepts for physical hardware products and system and enacting the implementation of industrial design plans across a range of new and existing products. The role leads in coordinating design and innovation initiatives and manages multiple projects concurrently. The role also leads project teams to deliver comprehensive, high-quality design solutions and provides valuable guidance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues. Responsibilities Designs the industrial design for physical hardware products and systems based on established design principles and in accordance with design strategy, practices, and guidelines. Creates and translates new design ideas and updates to existing products into sketches, storyboards, prototypes, and models. Develops and implements industrial design plans, changes, specifications, and reusable design elements for new and existing products. Leads and coordinates design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions. Collaborates with management, internal, and outsourced design and development partners to coordinate design activities, evaluate concepts and offerings, and recommend and implement changes to products or services to improve industrial design. Manages multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively interacts with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors. Works with key stakeholders to ensure the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of facility system models directly impact the company's ability to introduce new technologies. Leads a project team of other designers and internal and outsourced design and development partners to develop holistic, high-quality design solutions for moderate to complex projects, products, and services. Represents the industrial design team for all phases of larger and more complex development and design projects and programs. Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members. Education & Experience Recommended Four-year or Graduate Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design , or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in industrial design and development of physical hardware products and systems, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience. The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only).
