CNC Machine Parts Estimator

Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review customer blueprints and requirements to estimate the machine time, raw materials and subcontractor services required to manufacture CNC precision machined parts. Analyze blueprints and other documentation or models to prepare estimates, machine processes, material cost and subcontract services. Consult with customers, vendors, and company personnel to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues. Discuss with engineers and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, lead-times, and scheduling work. Qualifications Minimum 5 years working with cost estimating in a CNC machining environment. Candidate should have a strong CNC machine shop background. Basic knowledge of CAD / CAM software. Advanced GD&T knowledge a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel. Ability to work independently as well in a team environment.
