POWDER COAT PAINTER Details: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | $20 - $29/hour (DOE) Powder Coater Requirements: • Prior experience as a Powder Coater • Experience operating powder coating equipment, including guns and hoppers • Knowledge of thermosetting resin coatings, wash systems, and pretreatments • Ability to determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality using viscometers • Experience preparing parts for coating (washing, drying, organizing per job order) • Forklift experience • Strong attention to detail and quality standards About the Powder Coater Role: As a Powder Coater, your responsibilities will include: • Preparing parts for powder coating through washing, pretreatment, and proper staging • Operating powder coating guns, hoppers, and related coating equipment • Applying thermosetting resin coatings to meet quality and thickness specifications • Monitoring and adjusting paint flow, viscosity, and spray patterns using viscometers • Inspecting coated parts to ensure proper coverage, finish quality, and consistency • Organizing and staging parts according to job orders and production schedules • Loading and unloading parts onto racks for processing Why Work With Crown?
