Overview Join our team as a Utility worker at Wilberforce University, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and welcoming ambiance of our front-of-house area. Your efforts will contribute to providing a pleasant and efficient dining experience for our valued students, faculty, and staff. ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize all dining and kitchen areas to meet standards. Operate dishwashers efficiently and maintain them. Handle waste disposal and support recycling efforts. Restock dining supplies for smooth operations. Assist with basic food prep tasks. Ensure adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines. Report issues promptly. QualificationsPrevious experience in a similar role preferred, especially in a food service environment. Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures and practices. Ability to collaborate and work well within a team. Ability to handle physical demands of the job. Flexibility to adjust to varying tasks and schedules.
