This independent contractor role offers psychiatrists 65% of patient billings in a direct-pay model, eliminating insurance hassles and maximizing provider autonomy. You'll play a key role in launching our Treatment Program, providing evidence-based psychiatric care within a boutique, physician-led practice. Our model combines in-person intake days (Mondays & Fridays) with tele-psychiatry follow-ups midweek (Tuesdays-Thursdays), giving patients flexibility while ensuring strong clinical connection. You'll work with motivated patients in a stigma-free environment designed to prioritize long-term recovery. This is more than a job, it's an opportunity to shape a new standard of care in Sonoma County and help design a practice built for both patients and providers This is a contractor position within a private group practice model, providers retain clinical independence while supported by an MSO (Management Services Organization) that handles administrative functions. Qualifications: CA state MD/DO License, BLS, DEA, Board Certification Pay Rate: $325 per Intake, Cash Pay Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up medication management sessions. • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans. • Collaborate with patients and families to promote understanding of diagnoses and treatment goals. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the practice EMR. • Participate in case consultation with practice colleagues, as needed. • Provide care consistent with current evidence-based practices and professional standards. Qualifications • M.D. or D.O. with active, unrestricted California medical license. • Board Certified in Psychiatry. • Active DEA registration. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Commitment to patient-centered, cash-pay outpatient practice model. Compensation & Benefits Operates on a direct-pay model.
