Torrey Pines Dermatology & Laser Center, a premier dermatology practice located along the coast of San Diego, is seeking an experienced Mohs Surgeon to join our team as an independent contractor. We are a patient-centered, high-volume clinic offering a full range of dermatologic services, including general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology - with a strong reputation for clinical excellence and outstanding patient care. As a Mohs Surgeon on our team, you will play a critical role in providing surgical skin cancer treatments, collaborating with our team of board-certified dermatologists, and contributing to the continued growth of our surgical program. What we offer: A strong referral network and high volume of skin cancer cases In-house pathology lab with histotechnician support Access to advanced laser technology and cosmetic modalities A collaborative, experienced team of providers and medical assistants Competitive compensation package with productivity incentives Flexible scheduling (FT or PT) Opportunity to perform cosmetic procedures, if desired Dedicated administrative and billing support Our services include: Mohs Micrographic Surgery Complex excisions and reconstructions General dermatologic care and full-body skin checks Laser treatments (resurfacing, pigment, vascular) Botox®, dermal fillers, microneedling with PRP, and sclerotherapy On-site esthetician services Key Responsibilities: Perform Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstructions for a wide range of skin cancer cases Provide thorough pre- and post-operative care and clear patient communication Collaborate with our in-house dermatologists and clinical staff Maintain appropriate documentation and procedural reports Ensure all procedures are performed in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards Qualifications: Board-certified dermatologist with ACMS fellowship or equivalent Mohs training Minimum 2-3 years of post-fellowship surgical experience preferred Licensed (or eligible) to practice in California Strong surgical technique and excellent bedside manner Professional, punctual, and committed to quality outcomes Comfortable working as a 1099 contractor with appropriate malpractice coverage About us: Torrey Pines Dermatology & Laser Center is a premier dermatology practice located along the coast of San Diego, proudly serving the community for over 20 years.
