Key Responsibilities: Working with a team of multidisciplinary engineers. Leading the development of transportation project plans for public infrastructure projects. Manage and mentor staff while serving as a task lead Assemble a complete design package or assigned portions of a?larger project Perform quality control reviews Attend and lead meetings with public and/or private clients Represent MJ at industry and professional society events Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. PE Required. 5-10 years of progressive roadway engineering analysis and design experience. Project experience with State DOT's required and municipal experience a plus. Multi-modal and Complete Streets design experience a plus. Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley OpenRoads Designer. Business Development experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Public presentation experience preferred. Experience with proposal writing, scope of work development, and budgeting Excellent organization and attention to detail. Ability to effectively participate as part of a project team, develop and maintain client relations, and meet project demands and schedules.
