Network Services - Enterprise Architect

Job Title: Network Architect Duration: 1 year with possible extension Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced F5 Network Architect with 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing and supporting F5 BIG-IP platforms, including LTM, GTM, ASM, and APM modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuration, troubleshooting, policy management, performance tuning, upgrades, and CVE remediation in an enterprise networking environment. Responsibilities:F5 LTM (Local Traffic Manager): Create and configure VIPs (Virtual IPs) Troubleshoot application and connectivity issues Install, manage, and renew SSL certificates Develop and modify iRules for traffic management F5 GTM (Global Traffic Manager): Configure and manage Wide IPs Ensure efficient global load balancing and redundancy F5 ASM (Application Security Manager): Create and maintain security policies Fine-tune policies during learning and blocking modes Monitor and review new learning suggestions Troubleshoot WAF-related incidents F5 APM (Access Policy Manager): Design and implement SAML-based authentication policies Troubleshoot access issues and optimize configurations Device-Level Management: Remediate CVEs and apply system patches Perform system upgrades and device cleanup (removal of unused objects) Utilize iHealth and qkview for diagnostics and reporting Manage daily configuration backups via BIG-IQ Coordinate with F5 support for issue resolution Required Skills and Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM) Strong understanding of network protocols and data communication systems Experience with iRules, SAML policies, and SSL certificate management Knowledge of F5 device upgrades, backups, and troubleshooting tools Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for reporting and documentation Excellent communication and teamwork skills Experience working in enterprise networking environments Desired Skills: Knowledge of Cloudflare systems Ability to conduct training or informational sessions for team members
