BILLING ANALYST

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Under the general and direct supervision of the Supervisor Patient Accounts, the Billing Analyst performs full revenue cycle billing for hospital services to include processing of claims, Accounts Receivables, and Collections. QUALIFICATIONS Professional/Educational Five or more years experience in healthcare billing, knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing. Must demonstrate strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Word/Excel/Outlook, payer portals, and electronic medical records (EMR) software. Related college classes preferred. Personal Ability to teach and direct other office personnel. Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy. Possesses the ability to work under pressure.Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
